Who We Are

Rhinehart Pulliam & Company is a multidisciplinary design firm practicing in the fields of Architecture and Town Planning. Our specific interest rests in the boundary between residential, commercial, and civic architecture--uses that have been torn apart by modern development practices and suburban design. Our goal is to design not only buildings of all types but to design their relationships to each other. Only when all the components of the built environment come together harmoniously can we improve the quality of life for our neighbors and fellow citizens.

Born in a time of great upheaval in the building industry, RP&Co is designing new solutions to ever-evolving problems. We are committed to moving the building industry forward by utilizing a fresh perspective and creative design strategies to fit the ever-changing needs of customers as well as presenting solutions to problems that did not even exist three or four years ago.

We approach design problems and concepts holistically because every component of a design, no matter how small, contributes to its overall impact and creates an impression. Every element of our surroundings affects our emotional response. A house is enhanced or harmed by its neighbor. The touch of a

doorknob conveys a sense of quality, which is then attributed to the whole building and those who reside there.

Neighborhood to doorknob--a continuity of design produces the best possible result. Across the country, we have learned the lessons of tightening our belts and doing more with less. But good design does not require great expense. Indeed, we often find the opposite to be true; one only has to look as far as the rich building traditions of the nation’s past to find ingenious solutions that are efficient in materials and effort, simple in design, elegant in execution, and beautiful on the whole.

We are committed to finding quality solutions to problems in rapidly evolving markets. We are committed to designing the very best buildings and compatible environments. We are committed to bringing these designs forward at the most reasonable price possible. Most of all, we are committed to the belief that people deserve quality living and working environments and that such environments are both affordable and achievable.  We invite you to take a look at our art and efforts, and we encourage you to contact us for all your design needs.

"Great architecture is the sum of its parts. Each part must play its role well, or the whole composition will suffer."
